With a grand prize of one million EGP and total prizes worth 10 million EGP, the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology has launched the first edition of the “Digitopia” competition in the summer of 2025. The competition is open to youth aged 10 to 35 across all governorates of Egypt, aiming to foster technological innovation, discover talent across age groups, and provide a supportive environment for skill development. It also encourages collective thinking around societal challenges, national priorities, and the role of technology in building more efficient systems, easier services, and impactful applications for various sectors.
The competition is divided into three tracks:
- Software & Artificial Intelligence
- Cybersecurity
- Digital Games & Arts
