In 2022, Egypt ranked eighth globally in terms of the state's share of the total number of workers in the digital freelance sector, compared to fourteenth place in 2019. It ranked fifth in terms of the state's share of the total number of workers in the sector relative to the population, compared to sixth place in 2019. This indicates that there is currently a growing community of freelancers online in Egypt, with promising opportunities to build on this to provide job opportunities and overcome economic challenges.

All of this wouldn't have been possible without the significant and continuous efforts of the state to support these freelance workers and provide assistance in all forms to Egyptian youth, preparing them for the freelance market and removing any obstacles they may face.
